About Us
Having spent many years working in advertising sales, Sally was inspired to start Pick & Mix Marketing after listening to clients’ frustrations at not being able to find the marketing support they wanted within the budget of a small business. She realised that what they needed was not an ‘off the shelf’ approach as offered by so many other marketing agencies, but instead, a company that would listen to their business objectives and devise ways to help them reach new audiences using marketing activities that were within their means and price range. In short, a ‘pick and mix’ approach! The idea proved so popular that the business really took off and enabled Sally to move into a new office in York and employ a team of marketing experts.

pick&mix provided Ainsty Ales with a Marketing Audit & Plan in August 2016. The work carried out was extremely in depth, very useful and included a current marketing audit on Ainsty Ales, a competitor audit, key objectives and recommendations. At the time the business was in transition from a one man band contract-brewing, to an employer with its own microbrewery in York, having a marketing strategy on paper to refer to has helped no end .... we look forward to continuing our relationship with pick&mix in 2017!
Pick & Mix Marketing supported me initially in promoting our networking events held in conjunction with Hotel Du Vin York.
